Since the pandemic this year, many Universities in Australia have launched summer courses at the end of the year to help students to have more flexible arrangements. At the same time, some Universities have also provided generous scholarships!
If you want to start your studies as soon as possible and do not want to wait until February or March next year, then the summer course is a good option. Today we will share the Universities that provides summer scholarships.
Charles Darwin University
1. Summer Semester 2020 Scholarship
Scholarship requirements:
• The scholarship is applicable to undergraduate/graduate students in the Summer semester in November 2020
• Apply through AC&T, and the school will assess the applicant’s eligibility
• The number of scholarships is limited, applicable to the first 200 students who accepts Offer
Scholarship amount: 10% reduction of tuition for the first 2 semesters, with a maximum of 40 credits per semester
2. CDU Global Merit Scholarship
Scholarship requirements:
• The scholarship is applicable to undergraduate/graduate students in the Summer semester in November 2020
• Scholarships are for students with outstanding academic performance
Scholarship amount: tuition waiver of $10000
How to apply: Apply through AC&T, and you need to provide a personal statement within 500 words. The requirements are shown in the figure below:

Flinders University
Applicable to students studying Master of Accounting and Master of Business in the second semester of October 2020
Scholarship amount: 25% tuition fee waived for the first 8 courses
Macquarie University
1. Macquarie University UAC International Scholarship
Scholarship requirements:
• China/Hong Kong/Taiwan students who apply for Macquarie's undergraduate admission in 2020 or 2021 through UAC
• To meet the admission requirements and maintain full-time study
Scholarship amount: a one-time exemption of $3000 for the first semester, cannot be combined with other scholarships
2. Macquarie University Alumni Scholarship
Scholarship requirements:
• Applicable to students applying for a masters degree in 2020 or 2021
• Students must be graduates of Macquarie University
• To meet the admission requirements and maintain full-time study
Scholarship amount: 10% of the tuition fee per semester, cannot be combined with other scholarships
Not applicable to the following courses:
- Master of Chiropractic
- Master of Clinical Neuropsychology
- Master of Organisational Psychology
- Master of Clinical Psychology
- Master of Clinical Audiology
- Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Physiotherapy
- Master of Speech and Language Pathology
3. Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship
Scholarship requirements:
• Applicable to 2020 or 2021 undergraduate or masters degree students, whom must study full-time
• Masters students require 65%; undergraduate students requires ATAR 85
• Not applicable to students who have applied or studied at Macquarie University International College
Scholarship amount: $10000 Australian dollar tuition fee reduction; cannot be combined with other scholarships
Southern Cross University
1. Vice Chancellor’s Academic Excellence Scholarship
Scholarship requirements:
• Suitable for international students studying undergraduate or masters programs
• Must be full-time study
• Meet entry requirements
• Students must complete all subjects and obtain at least "Credit" in order to continue to receive scholarships
Scholarship amount: annual tuition fee reduction of $8000
2. Vice Chancellor’s International Diversification Scholarship
Scholarship requirements:
• Suitable for international students studying undergraduate or masters programs
• Must be full-time study
• Meet entry requirements
• Students must complete all subjects and obtain at least a "Pass" score in order to continue to receive scholarships
• Only students from certain countries, please contact AC&T for details
Scholarship amount: annual tuition fee reduction of $8000
University of Southern Queensland
International Student Support Scholarship
Scholarship amount: up to 25% tuition fee waiver
Scholarship requirements:
• Applicable to international students studying in the third semester of 2020, the first semester of 2021, and the second semester of 2021, full-time study
• Students need to meet entry requirements
• Not applicable to Bachelor of Nursing students
• After enrolment, students needs to meet the academic requirements to continue to receive scholarships
Application deadline:
-The third semester of 2020 (27 November 2020)
-The first semester of 2021 (5 March 2021)
-The second semester of 2021 (23 July 2021)
Torrens University
Torrens University’s last semester in 2020 will start in November. There are several campuses across Australia and most majors are available. All majors has a 25% tuition fee discount for the whole semester.
